Heh, if I had control they would have shipped my car by plane directly to Seattle like a couple Saabs that were in the cargo hold of the A340 that I flew from Copenhagen to Seattle on.

If they release it Friday morning, it could be on a truck and at your dealership (a 1-day drive) that same day. You'd probably have it delivered the following morning, as I can't picture more than 2-3 hours of prep at the dealership. Fluids check, air in the tires, shipping blocks, brief inspection, etc... and not much else.

If it doesn't get released until the afternoon of the 16th, no telling what their trucking schedule looks like. I figure my ETA is Monday simply because they don't commit to Sunday delivery, but who knows.

I'm expecting (now) to pick mine up late Tuesday afternoon.

That being the case..I'm expecting mine by Monday then. Service guys won't have it ready on time Friday and and they don't work weekends so...

my ca called me right now he said he is trying to locate the car but he expects it any time. he said that they get three deliveries a day so he is looking where my car is and when it is coming for sure

Hang in there... Those CA's probably keep some info. from us to surprise us a little bit...they know we are all like kids at Christmas...and we should be...its a damn BMW for Gods sake!!

But why not? It's not everyday in our adult lives that something this "exciting" happens.

So... reading your messages you've gotten ME a little excited too! I didn't order my car directly from Germany, but my car broker found one with my specs that was going to be delivered to a dealership in Concord, CA. by June 20th. From there, the car has to be delivered to Fresno.

Does anyone know how often these ships full of BMWs arrive on the West Coast! I'm hoping my car will be here within the next week too! (I'm thinking it has been a ship mate with one of your cars, though...)

I just got the call. My car just arrived at the dealer. My CA says I can pick it up today but I opted to pick it up tomorrow. And the reason for that is that it’s my birthday tomorrow and it will be a nice present to myself. I’m very excited to see it.

Ah Danielle, it's a slippery slope I tell ya. You sure you want to start this craziness? Look at us. 16 pages of posts saying "Where is my car" and "any updates" At least your car is scheduled fairly soon. Any of you guys with access to Sea Searcher might be able to see what boats are arriving at PH to help D out.
