If it DOES indeed happen, I will be pissed, for sure. My 330 does have enough power for me, but I still will be pissed because, well just because. I'll get over it and still love my car the same way, but I'll be pissed for a while, it's just the kind of person I am.

- MY92 E36 came out as the 318 and 325. - MY93 E36 saw the 325 bumped to the S50B25 TU motor and 15bhp increase. (intro of VaNoS) - MY96 E36 was the 323 and 328. 4 cylinder is dead in the USA. - MY99 E46 Introduced as 323 and 328 - MY01 E46 Coupe introduced, 323 replaced for 325, 328 replaced for 330. - MY05 E90 Introduced as 325 and 330. - MY07 E90 Coupe/E92 Introduced as 328 and 335 Am I the only person who sees the pattern here? I've said it before, I will say it again- the 325 will be replaced with the 328 and the 330 will be replaced with the 335. That is the way BMW has worked since god drove a 2002tii. I am glad to hear a rumor that BMW won't fall for this turbo charging shit either. Turbos are for companies that don't know how to build efficient motors in the first place OR for motors which have been rung as far as possible with natural aspiration. BMW can get 340 out of the M motors, they can damn well get 310 out of an advanced N series motor. 310 should shut those people at Lexus and Infiniti up... |

All U.S. bound 330's are built in Germany, so its likely that the 335 will be built there as well. I'd just as soon take the ED discount and have Germany as my first choice for my car's build. But that's just me. |

Turbos can and are efficient engines - I just don't like it. I agree that BMW would be better off without one.
AS for the e46 thing, I think that the first was a 1990 intro as a 1991 model year ? Anyway, bottom line is that BMW will up the power and change the designation. The remaining questions are : when and to turbo or not to turbo. |

Sir! I believe its too risky sending two babes to Munich. They can easily get distracted shopping and clubbing out there, .... unless I go with them. |

Hmmpf good point, but of course it is too difficult and onerous for you to try to keep an eye on both and complete the mission. I'll come along, you do the mission, I'll make sure everything else is OK... |

OK, can you check with them - between Rich Reg and his mission and your contacts perhaps we can get a scoop instead of just hot and bothered about rumours. |

Are you sure they weren't confusing the North American market with a diesel model? 'Cause current info from BMWNA is apparently saying otherwise. Unless of course, SpeedFreak is a complete liar. |

Also, how current is your info from "actual BMW employees"? It seems like a lot has changed fairly recently. Maybe you should double check with those sources just to make sure? I'd love to hear it.
