Hello!!!! New BMW owner here!

Ive been lurking the forums doing some research before I purchased my 2009 silver 135i.

My name is Miguel, and I live in the Treasure Coast of Florida. I have had alot of cars, modded most, lol.

I sold my 2008 IS-F, and purchased this little rocket. Every time I drive it, It puts a smile on my face. And it keeps me away from the gas pump .

So far I love this community. This website is full of information and ideas. I cant wait to get started on this car.

Here she is...

I got the car for $24,500 with 46k on the odometer. It's certified with an extended warranted till 100k miles. The car has the M package, Bluetooth, leather, premium sound, BMW assist, and a ton of other stuff I haven't messed with.

My buddy has a 370Z, and after driving my car, he has decided to buy one himself, lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! Looking forward to modding, and meets for the new year. This car doesn't get too much attention right now unless people know what they are looking at. That will soon change,lol...

Here are some of my past cars, and what I had done to them.

2008 350z Nogaro Red

2008 Smokey Granite Mica IS-F

2010 GTI

And the one that started it all. 2002 Mazda Protege5 w/custom T3/T4 turbo kit.

Welcome! Good to see you're already planning on modding, head over to the N54 section of the forum to check out your options for power+support mods, and the strengths and weaknesses of our engine. Long story short fueling and ignition can be cranky, but the block is robust and takes to power modding about as well as anything out there that's not a 2JZ.

OOOF. IS-F to 135, what a size difference. Glad you like your car, very zippy compared to the IS-F huh?

Yea its a completely different experience. The lexus is in your face brutally fast, but you can tell its still a luxury car at its heart.

The 135i is very refined, not as luxurious, but its a purebred sports car, and its a diver's car. After I drove my 135, I made up my mind to get rid of the IS-F.

Glad to hear! I've thought about moving from a 135 to an IS-F but I've never driven one.

My thoughts exactly. I have always wanted an IS-F. I just couldnt afford a 2011 IS-F. Plus the gas mileage is a bit worse than the 135i...

I would have kept the IS-F for the looks alone. What an amazing looking car...
