front end alignment - DIY

hello:
is there a video how-to for a front end alignment?

i just installed a b-12 pro kit and m3 control arms. it is real sketchy to drive - 40 mph is about all i can go. i would like to do some level of adjustment to make the car a little more drive-able until i get to a shop tomorrow.

thanks.

Can't offer much on alignment, but please do post impressions once all said and done. My B12 is going on next week along with Dinan plates and whiteline RSFB

appt tomorrow for alignment. can say b-12 kit rides much better, didnt really lower from stock sport suspension... which i am fine with, considering roads in texas are not smooth.

once alignment is done, i look forward to excited driving!

alignment was completed this morning and car handles, rides great! only thing bmw tech would suggest are camber plates for more precise tuning. the strut alignment pin had to be knocked out so more camber could be adjusted in.

ride height is about same as when car had 24k miles on it - when i bought it. car does have the sport pkg and the b-12 pro kit is a 40mm drop from non-sport pkg.

all told i have done... aa tune, k&n drop-in/charcoal delete, afe scoops, b-12 kit and m3 control arms, magnaflow exhaust, conti dws 225/255 on 18x8.5/9.5 lm reps and added black grill and deck lip. next are new rotors/pads because its time! and then maybe whiteline rsfb and aa header.

Nice!

I'm booked to get my b12 and whiteline RSFB in next week, also with dinan camber plates. I'm surprised it's not lower at all, did you measure before and after? I'm expecting about 10mm drop from M-sport.....we'll see.

Ah, lol yes the mileage probably didn't help. I'm only at 60K miles so I figure I will see some drop.
