BMW 125I Service
Got a query.
My information panel is informing me that my 125i is due for a service in 01/2010 but by then I will of only done 5000km. The build date is 01/2009 and I got delivery in 04/2009. Should I do a service at this date or wait till April 2010? Thanks |

Thats just the car telling you that the car should have done 10000km by then and therefore will be due.
If you haven't got a warranty that makes you service every 10000km or 1 yr, then I don't think it matters.

interesting how they've changed the first scheduled service for the 09 cars to 1 year. my 08 car was 20,000 (or depending on how you drive) or 2 years.
as regards to your question, it probably wont matter that much as it probably is just an oil change i assume??? and will only be a few months diff at max. but just of note, there are other fluids and such which age independent of kms put on the car. |

I've just clocked 28,000 on mine... Mind you, I've had it for 16 months now.

the first one is just an inspection, they just check the fluids and then charge you $200.

Thanks
I think I might use one of my free pit stop vouchers instead. Auto Classic said I can use those for an inspection and to check the fluids every 6 months. |

With AutoClassic you get the PitStop facility with the purchase of a new car. You can put it in for a PitStop every month if you wanted to. What's this voucher thing? I've not heard of that before.

Upon purchasing my 125i, Auto Classic gave me 6 complimentary Pit Stop vouchers which are to be used over the next 3 years (they recommended every 6 months). At the Pit Stop they check your tyre pressures, oil and fluid levels and top up if necessary whilst u have a cappuccino in their coffee lounge |
