New friend for 1M

Been a bit quiet here lately so thought I would post a few pics of my 1M's new playmate. The Porsche is a blast and ridiculously fast. Still love the 1M though. Very different cars in good ways. Have a set of HRE's to put on the turbo but will wait till the PS4's come out.

And to make sure the 1M wasn't sad I bought a painted engine cover (thanks to a forum member).

Pdk. I am more of a manual car fan but have really enjoyed the pdk. Still, nice to have the 1m to row gears when i want to.

Very Nice! I have always wondered about the Turbo S! I have been very tempted to source a clean 08 Turbo for some time, but have just never gotten round to driving one yet as I'm at my car limit! I'm sure the newer variant is unreal.

You should give one a try. Incredible machines for the money. True supercar performance for often times 6 figures less than the original msrp.

If you're searching for 08 model then find a manual and only a manual one.

997.1 auto's were the normal aging old auto box .. quire boring and slow.

997.2 is where the PDK first shined .. but if lucky to get a manual turbo 997.2 i think those are keepers !

Agree I would only get a manual 997.1. I went with the .2 mainly for reliability issues. I didnt want to deal with the mezger spun camshafts and coolant pipe issues despite the heritage. So figured if was getting a .2 might as well go with the S.

Mine is a 997.1 manual + ecu remap.. I went yesterday with both cars to some, "highway stress relief"

997 is insanely fast, but 1M has one of the best handlings I've ever experienced.

Very nice! I wanted a coupe with aero but settled on a cab so the family could enjoy as well! Are those hre's? Looks great. Need to get mine installed but was waiting for the new michelins.
