I used to think...

...that my 1M had plenty of power. But boy does one get used to it quickly. And as we say here in Sweden; he who has much wants more. So I am thinking about the JB4 tune. Seems to be a fairly nice deal. What are the pros versus the cons? Any ideas?

was there a particular event or comparison after which you felt your 1M was lacking in power?

not really. there has been several occasions though where I wouldnt mind a little more push.
I do have one concern with a possible upgrade and this is how the car would handle with more power. also I want to make sure that that an upgrade cannot not be detected when the car goes in for service.

Down-pipes, mid-pipes, jb4. Will sound awesome too!

And if you want even more.... meth kit, or run some race gas. Or both.

idk i think the power in general is addicting. Don't let it be just about power b.c you can get addicted to it really easily lol. It's like a drug. I know a few people crazy enough to TT vipers for more power.

I used to have a 944T that was putting out 380HP in a 2600lbs car, it was addicting to be able to keep up with the Honda CBRs in their day - at least until they would hit their brakes.

you get used to everything. A friend of mine has a tuned 996 Turbo.... he thinks it is slow and would not mind having more...
Best thing to do is to drive a slower car for some days (my wife has a 320xd. Always nice coming back from that in the 1M!

Add a FMIC and a full exhaust for a bump in HP. If not enough, at a tune (Evolve, Giac, or Procede/JB4.

Jb4 with dci here, a phenomenal option for the money. No problems or complaints and all of the other features are great as well, boost gauge and such.

Would turning off DTC help?
Have you tried this?
