Recall!

So I dropped off my car at the dealer this past tuesday. Car went into limp mode + check engine light. Long story short, had the HPFP replaced again (second time).

Anyway, my SA told me about the Seat belt tensioner recall and that I needed to have my seat belts + tensioners replaced. Did anyone else have these replaced? also, were you notified about the Recall? because I certainly was not. thanks

Yes. My wife's 135i vert got the recall repair just last week. We were indeed notified. Took 2 hours.

yep, got a letter in the mail, and had the work done.

i got the letter. Havent set up the appointment yet. Gonna call tomorrow to set it up

I got a letter after I had the repair done. My car was in for service and they told me about three different "campaigns", aka recalls, and the seat belt thing was one of them.

I remember people getting the letter about a month before I got my letter. They'll do the recall even if you haven't recieved the letter though.

lol, i got all excited/worried that there was a new recall for a moment there. then all of the sudden this whole thread felt like deja vous.
