I paid 2800 shipped for a package deal with jacks. the lift alone was 1790 at the time of purchase last june 08. Now i believe because steel prices have rissen the cost is up to 2000.
got it at gregsmithequipment. Here is the exact setup i got. http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Di...rojack3500.htm

Oh the other thing is you can't have a traditional garage door opener. If you look at my project pics you will see i have a jack lift door opener. Idealy a 11' ceiling would be best. its all about measure 100 times order correct lift.

You can still work on the car with a four post lift. that is why i got the jacks with it. Works great for doing brakes. The 2 post lifts have to be bolted in but do give you more room under the car.

Did you wash outside in the snow? I'm afraid that's what I'm going to have to do this weekend before bringing it in to my garage for the detail I'm going to do. My wife is going to think I went off the deep end.

Yes i did it outside. As long as the weather is above 39 degrees and sunny helps. Its not so bad. Then after drying it i pulled it in the garage to give it a quick wax for some extra protection
