You guessed it. I turned my one car garage into a 2 car garage.
Here is a link to my renovation steps

how much space do you need like how tall should the roof be?
i have 10'1" tall ceiling. I did alot of measuring and re-measuring to make sure everything would fit. The nice thing about this lift is its adjustable up to about 2-4 ichnes.
Oh the other thing is you can't have a traditional garage door opener. If you look at my project pics you will see i have a jack lift door opener.
Idealy a 11' ceiling would be best.
its all about measure 100 times order correct lift.

You can still work on the car with a four post lift. that is why i got the jacks with it. Works great for doing brakes. The 2 post lifts have to be bolted in but do give you more room under the car.

Did you wash outside in the snow? I'm afraid that's what I'm going to have to do this weekend before bringing it in to my garage for the detail I'm going to do. My wife is going to think I went off the deep end.

Yes i did it outside. As long as the weather is above 39 degrees and sunny helps. Its not so bad. Then after drying it i pulled it in the garage to give it a quick wax for some extra protection
