Finally got my 135I today....

Anyway...been looking forever.

THANK YOU BMW FOR BUILDING A TWIN TURBO RWD COUPE. After driving this, I was ruined for any other car (non exotic).

Space Grey with Black leather and Aluminum trim. I got just about every option except comfort access.

I replaced my Rx-8 with the Elise back in 2006. I had my 94 Rx-7 and elise until about a year ago I sold the R-x7. That left me with the Lotus as my only car for a full year. Its a fun car but honestly driving it every day its been along time since it made me smile. It gets tiresome. Well...It never gets tiresome to look at it but driving it every day is.

Im keeping the Lotus, however im at the stage I want something with luxury, power and fun. I even got the auto in the BMW.

have you looked into the foredfed kits for the elise? I was planning on going that route if I bought one...it would surely bring a smile back to your face!

Oh I am aware of the turbos and superchargers. infact, forcefed has been one of our customers. Its not the power, its the elise is every bit as fast as the 135I, its just that it feels so rough compared to the BMW. Comfort is non existent, hitting a bump is painful. These are traits that make the car fun as hell... but not to drive every day.

Im keeping the elise for a reason Its an amazing car.

I will put our meth kit on it first, do dyno testing on/off. Then I will look into Shivs products. He tuned my Rx-7 in California about 7 years ago.

The aluminum trim is the only way to go....at least for me. Ok the black trim can be nice too.

My #1 choice would have been the car identical to what I got except red interior. I did not feel like ordering a car so red is out of the question as dealers today are only stocking what most customers will want. I got lucky my car was custom built by someone who could not follow through and thats how it ended up with the aluminum. the few 135Is that are being in the lots are pretty much all wood.

I cant say enough good things about the NAV. Watching a DVD is great too, the sound is fantastic and the video quality is good.

The A/C is on even when heating the car to help remove moisture. You will notice that whenever automatic climate is selected that A/C will come on. It seems to work pretty darn well to me.

I completely agree with you. The 335i coupe is nice but there is something I like more about this brawny mid-sized 135i. I hate to sound desperate but, could you please post tons more pictures of it. If not, you can e-mail me some too. The reason I want to see some more soon is because I will be ordering mine in the same color very very soon (like probably tomorrow)... !

Thanks!
