1addicts.com was around before anyone on here knew what the car was going to look like. Yes. Imagine that...simply amazing. A forum composed of a bunch of dreamers. We all had the european hatch to look at for reference. It was crazy trying to think how BMW would shape this into a coupe. This is our VERY FIRST spy shot:

It was love at first sight. I remember exactly where I was. My then gf thought I was nuts.

Yesiir the anticipation was killing us. We had no clue what the tail lights/rear was going to look like. We also wondered about the Hoffmeister kink and the 3/4 rear quarter panel too. Oh yeah, the headlights! BMW taped them so we all analyzed, and analyzed, AND analyzed...lol It was like we created the damn thing.

I was here roughly a year after the forum was formed. I remember seeing those picture and thinking to myself, what is BMW doing? All turned out for the best.
