Angry 130i Rattling when in gear, not just clutch release bearing?

Hi guys, I am new and happy owner of a 2006 130i. My 3rd BMW now, but my first 1er. (Previous e90 320d & e92 325i M sport)
I am loving this car, the sheer straight 6 engine with the nimbleness of a hatch.

I have noticed an annoying rattle which I can hear when driving with the windows open, specifically when passing by a close wall or parked cars (the noise bounces back). I have read a lot of threads about the clutch release bearing, but this noise happens whilst driving, in gear, but if I were to drop the clutch so the car were coasting, the noise would cut out.

Any suggestions?
