New 1addict!
New 1addict to the forum; just bought a 2009 135i vert, M-sport LeMans Blue. Was on zpost for a long time ('04 Z4 3.0i). Now I'm looking forward to learning about the 1-er. I've already ordered a bunch of accessories from Tischer and Leatherz, plus planning what else to add to it. Nothing too radical as I think I'll be happy with the power but may have to add the perf exhaust if I can sneak that expense by the wife.
Here's my first photo after the first test drive (in the rain) and my old Z4 which was loads of fun. |

Here's the story. When I bought the Z4 as our 3rd fun car, the wife's purchase condition was it had to be an auto. Then she drove it once in 6 years.
I finally had to have another manual plus I wanted to be able to take the wife and dog out for fun top down trips. The first mod will be to wrap the wood trim with a brushed metallic (Wu! Wraps is close), then alcantara shift/e-brake boots. |

Welcome... not the same feel as the Z i also had an 06 E85 Z so i know where you are coming from. However, I couldnt get rd of the Z totally so i bought the E89 to compliment the E82. The E82 is reallly the wiffeys car but i drive it a lot too. You know to get the gremlins out of it. hahaha. It is still fast enough to make her tell me to slow down or say whooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaa. lol Hope you enjoy the 1 and are not like me to have to go out and buy a new Z to go with it. Very damaging to the pocket.

I see that you are from the Big O. I am like 20 minutes from you and used to live by the airport over there. Let me know if you ever get a group together for a long drive or something.
