Scratch in my clearcoat from a woman with a purse, I'm assuming..
Please let me know what you all think I should do. I'm pretty disappointed by this. I will add a better picture tomorrow.

Had the same thing happen to me, but they left their bag on my trunk. It's too deep to remove without a repaint.

Its hard to tell from the pic but it might buff out with some polish. Start with the hardest cutting, then go to the finest. Ive gotten out visible scratches before with just polishing.
That is a pretty long scratch...if the polish doesnt work a clear coat pen then wet sand might work but since its so long youll probably always be able to tell. That sucks though. I had a dent in my hood from someone setting something on it in a parking lot. Had to do paintless dent removal and you can still tell if you know where to look.

Usually black paint scratches are noticeable, but what I've noticed on the metallic/silver clearcoat is that it is easily damaged and noticeable. I once covered a broken side window that got smashed with cardboard and sellotape and when I removed the tape it left permanent damage on the paint job.
