Delivery Day, Drive, consumption & some pics

Yay! It finally arrived, after waiting over 4 months. Had to immediately "drive it in" - ran it out of the city up through to Marysville and back. Very nice. I realise now that the previous test drives did it no justice whatsoever. This car is absolutely astounding.

The combined consumption, ie. pretty busy city and suburban traffic, winding hill climbs with some spirited driving, including highway coasting - keeping in mind this 135i is first day on the road - 9.4/100km.

Have to agree with others though, the tank is far too small..

Congrats man. It must feel good after the 4 months of waiting. I was doing alright until now. The dealer called me to say that my car would be arriving in Australia on the 23rd of Jan....and now all I can do is count down the seconds. The dealer should have not rung me at all!!!

Again congrats man. Looks GOOD!

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Noshe83, if the dealer told you it's arriving in Oz on 23/1, then it will still take extra time until you actually get it. In my case, because of Christmas, it was almost 4 weeks. I assume it may normally take only about half that. Hang in there mate, it's really worth the wait.

Yes great consumption. From memory my car was around 12.7 l/100 when I picked it up. Currently doing about 10.2 with 6000+ km on the clock.

Getting 12.0/100km now after ~4.5k km.

Was sitting close to 15L+ It's as though some magic switch has been hit over the last couple of tanks.

We get just a touch over 13 in Sydney's traffic and I suspect it is only that good due to the unusal amount of freeway driving we did over Christmas
