Pshops: Please help me to find a cf hood for my car

Hey guys,

I`m about to get a new hood since the stock hood got damaged by hail.
I only have two options since these are the only cf hood which have a german tüv certification. btw I have to install aerocatches...

Here are the two options:

Seibon GTR CF Hood:

Seibon M3 CF Hood:

Which hood do you think would be the right one?

I can`t make a decision! A mixture of both would be perfect!

I'd like to have either or lol

But I'd go for the 2nd one the most, less busy.

I'd go with the 2nd one. First one seems to be to "busy" and draws attention away from the rest of the front end.

REVOZPORT has german TUV approval and you can order it with Aero Catches pre installed. You just have to install the pins in your radiator support. This saved me a lot of time and money.

But if you are set on Seibon, I would get the 2nd hood.

I prefer the second one ! Better looking IMO and less busy than the other.

Like ilikebmxbikes said, you shoul take in consideration the RevoZport hood

Yes, it`s def an attention whore!
But I love to see some cf exposed.

everyone with an aftermarket hood has an m3 hood over here.
but all of them have them made of fibreglass.

I tried but it is impossible at the moment.
they only have 25 in stock and they only sell them to active e owners.
so I got a vin from one and still don`t get it, since only dealer get that hood which delivered at least one active e. so I tried to contac a dealer which delivered one, but they need to get the old hood and then you will get the replacement.

but there will be more in a couple month which shall be up to sale for everybody!! but I can`t wait that long!

I'd go with the second hood. Looks clean and aggressive at the same time.

The RevoZport hood has a nice design, also clean, but I like a good bulge.

Good choice, that bubble is rather endearing from behind the wheel. It's just fun to see it everyday.

How much did you paid it ? How many kilograms will you save with this mod ?

You will paint it in the same color as your car, right ?

Nice ! You'll have some weight reduction ! Have you ever thought about CF trunk ?

I think you'll keep the airducts on the hood from both sides of the power dome in CF isn't it ?

I like the concept of your car. Congrats man !

I forget to ask you : do you plan to put some pin hood too ?

Thank you! Glad you like it!!

yes haha!

I`d love to get a cf csl trunk, but there is none I know with a tüv certification.

Yes they will be kept in cf from both sides.
But I thought of leaving some more cf exposed, like the powerdome looks in this picture:

And yes, there will be aerocatch hood pins installed, since on the autobahn your hood better not comes up!

Just did some research. Apparently the activeE adds a lot of drag. That's a real shame, I do a bit of high speed driving here in Germany.

Where did you end up buying the M3 style hood?
