And you thought the E92 M3 was faster

Pretty impressive for a stock car. I had two runs, 4.8 and 4.7 0-100km.

Car Specs
Car : 2011 BMW 135i
Transmission : DCT
Fuel : BP 95 RON (91 equivalent)
Wheels : 19inch VMR wheels
Engine mods: NONE

Runs were done at 2000m above sea level.

Sorry, don't think its accurate. If you can provide us with time slips from a drag strip then we would believe you. There is no chance you have a 0-60 of 2.3 seconds.

Its kilometers per hour...so 0-100km/h = 0-62mph

I don't know how accurate those numbers are but I know for a fact that your elevation affects n/a vehicles much more than boosted cars.

And not in a good way either.

^^^You are not hanging with a M3 until 140mph....its possible two car lengths but he missed a shift or slow shifted to be two car lengths. The 135i/1M power band and torque kills the M3 until about 5000rpm in all gears...but after that it is lights out to the M3 due to the bigger displacement engine AND higher redline...

^That

M3 is much stronger at the limit, near the top of the power band and at high speeds. 135i is much stronger in the middle of the power band and at low to moderate speeds.

As for OP..

Great numbers! Not far off from what a lot of magazines tested as the stock 0-60 times (around 4.8 sec).

Is it totally stock, including the tires?

I don't know. In my informal "autobahn testing" - a stock 135i is darn close to a M3 all the way up to 140-ish (mph). It pretyy much depends on who gets on teh gas first as to who's in front. Maybe I just ran across a bunch of weenie M3's so far. I really would like to see what a real race would be like though.

I'll say it again, elevation affects n/a cars much more than forced induced cars.

Great time. I'm curious how you did it. Did you use launch control? If so, did you hold it until the flag showed up or start at a lower RPM? If not, how did you start to get that time. I'm not questioning the accuracy, I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks.

IDK what you guys aren't believing but 4.7 0-60 is what Car and Driver reported. That is the stock number. However, an M3 is 0-60 in 4.0 or less, so IDK why the fuck people think they are the same stock vs stock, thats a massive difference.

Although 135 + JB3 + AFE intake + powerful axleback has to be faster than M3, people are reporting 1/4 times of faster than M3's reported stock 12.9 on just those simple mods.... unless I am mistaken.

A stock M3 0-60mph is not 4.0 or less. Try about 4.4-4.7 seconds.
