"I just checked with one of my service advisers about replacing the turbo. For the 2011 and newer it is a single turbo and would be about $5,000 to replace. If it is older than 2011 it is a twin turbo which can be about $6,800 if both need to be replaced. The price can vary a bit depending on the dealer, but hopefully this will at least give you an idea." |

Paps.... How dare you take a quote and honestly pass the message along without tweaking the numbers to the best of your knowledge and "professional discretion"!! How about contributing to the forums for a change!

Thank you!
Wanted to just send out a public thanks to Allen for organizing this for us. Just finalized everything and it couldn't have gone smoother, and the timing was perfect.
Set for another 3 years of peace of mind on my '08 135i, and couldn't be happier with the experience. Thanks again Papethova! You're truly an asset to this board. Much appreciated! |

Took care of mine today. Transaction with Pacific BMW could not have been easier. Allen your efforts are very much appreciated.

Warranty
Did mine today for two cars (M3 and 335). Saved over $1800 off MSRP.
Mr Dutton was very professional. Highly recommend. Took about 15 minutes including my questions. Key read, complete form, pay and go. Kudos Papethova and Daniel Dutton. |

I'm about to pull the trigger on this; just deciding between the various options. Came back to see initial reactions from folks who have signed up. So far, everything seems quite positive? No issues/horror stories?

No Horror Stories Here
Everything went very smoothly. Sent in key with cashier's check, got it back within a couple of days. Now I've got a 1M with a 70/100 powertrain plus with maintenance. Very grateful to Dan and Papethova!!!

My transaction was super smooth as well:
1. Contacted Daniel to get final pricing and specifics. 2. Went to local dealer to get key read (they didn't bother to even try to steal the sale . . . odd). 3. Emailed scanned key read to Daniel and called in my credit card info. 4. Two days later paperwork arrives along with pre-stamped envelopes. Signed and mailed back to Pacific. 5. About a week later, the warranty packet shows up. Easy enough! |
