why is my 330i not fun?

Last weekend I drove to Gainesville along 2-lane twisting roads the same way i took in my xc90, i was driving rather quickly and was not pleased with the ride, cornering or the acceleration. i had just as much fun as i did in my xc90. its a good car but is dosen't get my pulse racing, what is it?

maybe you don't appreciate the abilities of the car

the fact that you can't tell it's better than a volvo SUV tell me that you're not even close to the limits of the car

head to a drivers school and do some learning, then you'll be able to tell the difference. Plus driving schools are fun as hell!

i did a driving school in the xc90(fun as hell!) on one corner i could do 75mph in the xc90 with only tire noise, in the 330i i can only 60 mph to keep the car from geting side ways tried it 2 times.
both of the cars had the DSC and DSTC(xc90) on in normal mode, could it be the AWD in the volvo?

i actually feel sorry and bad for you. my advice to you is to make millions of dollars so that you can buy a ferrari enzo, then maybe you will be pleased.

Meh it's not that bad. I drove around with my last car for about 2 years without front or rear sway bars, only put them on when we sold it.

i cant understand how you can compare the performace to a volvo? as for as experience wise...This car is the epitomy of spirited driving for a sedan...its BMW, dont you think their might be something wrong with you? (no offense) i also think you need to go to driving school, if you really want...come over to miami and ill get you to wet your pants... in a 325..... :rocks:

heres a better idea buy another new xc90 and give me the 330

I can understand maybe you liked driving an S60R better than the Bimmer, not an SUV and not even an X5, an XC90 who focuses on safety above all else.

Maybe you enjoyed the thrill of carrying many passengers and a lot of luggage while driving in a spirited fashion.

In actuality, w/e roads you're speaking of clearly didn't push your 330 at its limits. BMW Performance Driving School FTW.

yep, turn off your headlight during night time on mountain road. close your eyes while you are driving 150mph. Then that will be fun.
