Limp Mode? Help Please

Started up the car this morning in the some what cold canada winter weather 0C to -2C, the car is in my my garage, it made some weird noice and rmp was rev up to 2000 to 2500 and it stay there for about 5 sec then came back down to idle, with no warning lights. i started my regular drive to work but has no power 2nd to 3rd no juice what so ever. got a warning light about oil but i check today that was ok i also brought 1qt just in chase.

MODs in the car just got a BOV hks with piping but i know that shouldnt have any problems with power or boost, i also check to make sure all srews and nuts were tighten down to max so there shouldnt be a boost leak, again im not a expert just base from what i can see from engine bay...

going to try the car now with the 1 qt castro syntec 5w40 which is the type of oil ive been using for the pass 2 years. keep my finger cross and im going to the dealer on dec 9 dont know if i should wait that long

has anyone experience this type of problem before please help thanks

Sounds like a boost leak. Did you install the bov yourself?

no i did not, i brought to my tech, i just try the car and it seems like its running fine still a bit laggy from 2nd to 3rd but ill keep an eye on it to see, again i check with the bov it seems like there its no leak, how else would i be able to fine out i have no boost gauge
