Discounts??

Is everyone paying MSRP?? I just built one and it came to $42k (w/ nav), and it prefer to keep it around $37-38 if possible...

Are dealers working with buyers?

Not in that way. You may be able to negotiate $500 off; I understand $1000 is pretty uncommon. Some dealers in CA are marking it up.

Nice to see another R owner over here. Your screename stands out from the Vortex R32 board. Welcome. There are a decent amount of R owners here.

I had an 04 R32. Still have poster #1 of #5000! Miss that car and hope the One series makes me just as happy if not happier. I was peppe1.8T over at vortex and audiworld. I don't feel so much like a traitor anymore! I'm shooting for $500 off the car. I should be getting some kind of loyalty discount.

You can do European Delivery and right now get ED MSRP which is a 7% discount but you have to factor in the cost of the trip. You can also wait until EDs have an actual allocation in which case you can negotiate from ED invoice which is just under $30k.

In my case I negotiated the deal prior to the allocation issue coming up for $1200 over ED invoice so I am seeing about $5k in savings. Of course now that I am in the process of booking my 17 day trip, it looks like it is going to cost about $7000 for my wife and I to go over, but the $2000 over and above the savings is a bargain for two weeks in Europe with my own car to enjoy.

^^This perhaps the only way to achive what you are trying to do.
Alot of dealers are still doing E.D's so you shouldnt have a problem there.. My thoughts.. you should just limit some of the eqipment you want.. that'll be the best way to save a couple bucks.. :iono:

Good luck..

Thats what I hope to do...so ED MSRP is 7% less than US MSRP, and the options and packages are the same as US or are they also at a 7% discount? Either way I'm getting $2,400+ off, with the 2 for 1 airfare...I will get to Europe with $1,200+ in my pocket

BTW, is that angkor as in angkor wat? (gf is cambodian)

No discount on options, they are at invoice.

angkor is as in Angkor Wat, but I am not Cambodian, just love the country (whole region actually),
