Drag Radial Choice and Size

I am planning on running some new rear wheels and tires... I was planning on going with a 17" wheel x 8.5" width to run some drag radials. I would like to run these daily to and from work (nice weather only), as well as to, at and home from the track, so I was looking into something like BFG's but see that the sizing on those are tough to fit onto the 135.

Is anyone out there running drag radials daily and if so, what brand and size?

I am going to look into my options, but wanted to ask the right people if someone is already running a solid setup.

no one with a drag setup read this?

i think i'm going with 17x8.5 and 245/45/17's. I'll report back when i decide, purchase and test fit.

lots of drag guys over there.

best setup ive heard of is 17x8.5 kosei k1 racing wheels
with 275/40/17 hoosier DOT drag radial.

when you search for kosei wheels they only pull up under a 335i on tirerack.com.

trust me they fit.
