Need help setting rear shock length on JIC Cross coilovers!
I've got a 2008 135i with JIC Cross Competition Coilovers. I have read JIC's instructions on setting the rear shock body length and am still unsure. Some people say to jack up car and adjust shock body length until its mounting stud goes into the lower A arm. Some say to shorter the shock body from there slightly for pre load. JIC doesn't mention this. Some also say to set length while car is sitting. I'm thoroughly confused, anyone with this car know for sure?
Thank you in advance!
