would 225/45/17(F) & 255/50/17(R) fit 1series

hello guys

can any body tell me would a pair of 225/45/17 front and 255/50/17 rear fit a 118d 1series?????? if do would there be any rubbing at the front or rear?????

what are the pros and cons????? such as increasing handling but decreasing speed etc

but most importantly would the tyre size fit the car as the alloys and tyres are sourced by a e90 320d msport......

thanks for your time and help.

I have 225/40/18's and 255/35/18's front and rear on 208m's with no rubbing.
These wheels have an offset of 47mm. I think the wheels you have an offset of 34mm which will cause rubbing on the front wing. The offset range should be 35-52mm.
It will be tight, but you might get lucky…
