Hopefully improved in several areas. The idea is to create a better more reliable product for less coin.

So if there are so many N55 stage 1 tunes, where are these drag results you speak of?
Compared to the number BMS tuned N54s out there the N55s are just getting started. But I've seen plenty of Stage1 drag times and dynos posted. In fact someone just posted a 12.8@111 on 93 octane fuel slip yesterday. I believe it's currently the worlds quickest and fastest N55 manual transmission car? Like you said due to the small compressor even a simpler tune like the Stage1 can deliver the the goods. Now we can debate on features and drivability with the PROcede vs. Stage1 but when the Stage2 hits I think that debate will quickly come to a close as well.

Have you run map 2 yet Ian? There really is alot more of a difference than just the extra features. It is the features that enable alot more flexibility and accuracy with the tuning.

Lets run it up on the dyno next week, so we can compare the dyno figures on an otherwise untouched car JB3 to Procede N55. Too bad you havn't got the JB3 still to do it within 10 minutes or so on the same day.

Map 2 is just another 1 psi. It will not make much difference up at high RPM, as boost is tapering off due to limitted turbo capacity, but it will make a difference down low. You can actually set each map to whatever boost you want within what the turbo can do, so you could have a 10psi map and a 13psi map if you liked which would give more difference between maps.

I will give Advan a call and let you know.
