19" wheels and bmw performance suspension questions

anyone have any pics of 19" wheels with the bmw yellow springs? i looked through the 29 pages at the top of this forum and didnt see any.

why does general consensus on here seem like 19" is too big. if running identical tires how would the ride be rougher than 18's. is it from going to a 35 series tire in the front and a 30 series in the rear. you could keep the 35 series in the rear but the speedo would be off. i have been seeing a lot of 19's in the classifieds. i can see if they were really heavy.

also anyone go to the track on 19's?

Many run 19's on the 1ers. From what i see most of the people that track their cars go with 18's. I can't comment on the Performance Suspension though. It all comes down to wheel offsets and tire choice. I am running 19's and i don't feel i lost any comfort in the ride. Hope this helps!

I ran 19's and never had a problem. The non runflats made the ride quality better with the 19's than the OEM 18's and runflats.

Check out my build thread in my sig, 235-35/265-30 on 19" (offsets +45 front, +48 rear), swift springs which is going to be around 1/4" lower than BMWPS. Not perfect for what you're asking for, but it will give you ideas hopefully.
