I am definitely planning on a custom tune, weighing my options. Either BuraQ, PTF, or a local shop that is a Cobb pro-tuner with a dyno. PTF can't even give me an ETA for when they will eTune N54's again, still working on their F80 rollout. BuraQ is getting set up with a Pro-tune shop, and has a wait list already. Local shop charges $700, but has a great reputation.

For now, I am OK with the stage 2 map. As I drive and the DME learns, it is getting better.

Glad to hear you got it tuned professionally. After owning a Cobb ap on several platforms, i can say that their BMW maps need the most work.

You care to share a log off your new setup? Id like to take a peek

I would say $400 to $500 is at the top of reasonable for a stage 2 tune. Most of these guys have their own base maps ready to go anyways.

I would definitely recommend a calibration by a professional though. Make sure they tune your part throttle, midrange, and whatnot.

Not bad at all! Small timing correction on cylinder 6 but since 4 and 5 are quiet I wouldn't be that concerned. You could try switching gas stations and see if it goes away.

Yea, I did a few logs with them and one of them had actually zero. This one had the minor one on a single cylinder like you mentioned but they said to not be concerned by that. Even the stock tune has single cylinder corrections occasionally.

It's really great actually getting 15 psi when going WOT. I couldn't get above 10 with the COBB OTS stage 1+.

Highly recommend PTF for those on the fence, they really know what they are doing.

As Carjunkie mentioned, PTF aren't taking new customers at this time.

Any other reputable etune vendors out there?

Yea I did hear that, hopefully they'll finish the F series development in the near future and start accepting customers again. I recently bought a DP and I'm trying to get them to update my etune but haven't heard back yet.

I don't personally know of another etune vendor, definitely not one as reputable as PTF.
