New Member...Hello!

Hello everyone!

I just joined; I own a CPO `08 135i convertible that I purchased 2 months ago and an `11 750ix MSport. Previously, I was a 6 Series driver with my last 6 being an `08 M6.

I purchased my 135i because I realized I needed a convertible in my life and the 1 Series reminded me very much of the old 2002 that I never had a chance to own or drive. I like this car so much that it has almost replaced my 7 as my daily driver. The 1 has been absolutely brilliant so far; however, the one question I have is regarding the headlights...it just seems to me that they do not illuminate down the road as far as they should. Has anyone here noticed this?

I've attached a few pictures of my 1 and 7.

Welcome! What a great color for your 'vert The car looks awesome, congrats.

I really can't speak to the headlight illumination issue, though. Mine illuminate enough of the road for me that I don't notice a deficiency.

I, like you am not thrilled with how much they illuminate. I feel like my last cars hids showed more then the 1. I was thinking of trying to find a way to adjust them up just a little bit.

Congrats fellow vert owner!

I love the grey!! I do find the lights have a low cutoff. I use high beams a lot when I'm driving in pitch darkness or on small side roads

I don't have a problem with the headlights at all. Mine are super bright, and in fact I get people flashing their brights at me when I don't have my bright headlights on!

Thanks for all the positive responses. I really feel like I made the right choice with the 135i as a "second car"...it's terrific on gas mileage, LOTS of fun to drive and, best of all for me, it's a convertible!
