talked to them, started at 12,500 over sticker. Almost as bad as BMW North Scottsdale asking 69 for theirs.

after a few calls they said they could do 9,500 over sticker at the best.

ended up going with one from Nevada.

Looks like I will be the proud new owner of an AW 1M in October.

Deposit down, signed buyers order and a production number.

yes, my 1M. I drove it for four miles to a shop for the clear bra or PPF (Paint Protective Film) installation. My salesperson/CA Barb followed me to bring me back. Boy I hated to hand it off after four miles. One of the guys in the shop has a VO 1M so they "get it." Hopefully I can pick it up mid day tomorrow. It was a really nice four miles though.

I followed this car through the weekend. Their first auction ended at 60k. so 5500+ over sticker, but that wasn't enough for these greedy bastards.

Delivery sometime in October. According to the 1 800 # the car is "Enroute to exit port"

Going to take Robertm's advice and just say its a mid-western dealer for now.

I would be leery, too. I guess you're opting for PCD. If not, then the owner will see it as soon as the truck pulls into the lot. At that point, things can get hairy.

Congratulations Brian! And I kinda agree with Robert... these late deliveries at the dealer are a concern.. Fortunately... at least this dealer did allow the allocation to be handed off, which is a good sign..

If anyone else has changed their mind or knows of a open allocation or incoming vehicle Please let me know. Have been positng on this thread for over a month now with no solid leads other than way over MSRP or already sold orders. I have made more than a 100 calls to dealers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ive been looking as well and its become a major pain.... However one may have come up that I have a deposit on to check out soon. But of course, for some reason they let the buyer who backed out order one without a SINGLE option in it! :/ Well see how i feel in person lol

I'd want that one, ideally without a single option, as long as it's not Orange. Please let me know if you're not feeling it...
