Window Tints

I know there are several threads about this (sorry), but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I'm getting my windows tinted tomorrow and I'm trying to decide between two things:
1.) 35% on the front windows, 20% on the rear 3 windows
2.) 35% all the way around

Can anyone help me out with pictures so I can see what each option looks like on the car? Extra points if the car is Crimson Red.

Thanks in advance!

Going darker on the rear looks really odd to me. Even with it even all around, the front still looks a little lighter. I put Air80 on the windshield, and that makes it a tiny bit better.

I run 40 on all windows, and 80 on the front windscreen.

I went with
Air tint (not sure what grade) on the front windshield
35% on all the side windows
20% on the rear windshield
20% on sunroof ( really helps heat but lets plenty of light in to have the shade drawn back in 95% of conditions)
going darker on the rear seat side windows always looks a little odd, more so in sedans, trucks and SUVs though. But having a darker tint on the rear windshield makes the back look darker because of less light coming through, but in a very subtle way.

I'm very happy with my set up

I like this idea a lot! Especially with how small the rear windows are, it would look weird if they were darker than the fronts.

I did this with ceramic tint ($300 tint job). I decided to do number 1 and go darker in the back for more privacy. I was afraid if it was too dark in the front that the police would just have an pull me over. So far (1 year) so good though, 35/20 is working well.

See my thread for photos of the car with ~30% on all windows (50 on front screen). Jet black, you'll have to cope.

I have 35% on driver/passenger and 5% on rear. My car is an alpine white and I think that the shadowline trim helps alot. The distinction between the rears and the driver/passenger really looks awesome. Ill try to get some pics so you guys can see .

I'm just curious, how does the window tint law work? If it says you must allow 70% of the light in, and you have a 35% tint then are you breaking the law by 5%?

I don't ever really notice the difference between the side windows, but when I do, it bugs me. Wish I wouldn't have, but I went 20% on the front, and 5% on the three rears. On my E36 I did 20% on all side windows and 5% on rear window. Looks much better.

Hey guys, I ended up going with 35% on the sides and 20% in the rear and it looks great. I haven't had time to wash the car and take pictures, but I will soon. Thanks for all the input! I'm really happy with the results.
