no issues with taking time for the intercooler to cool on track. with ambient temps in the mid to low 30s 3rd 4th gear to redline on the straight sees temps go up to high 50s, by the time I'm braking for turn 2 temps are back down to mid 40s. was the same lap after lap with no real evidence of it getting heatsoaked and temps creeping up. overall very happy with the intercooler definitely recommend it . don't see the need to butcher the car if you're staying on stock turbos. |

Where the bar and plate would be consistently 10 to 15f higher than tube and fin The weight saving is substantial too and for a few hundred dollars more it's worth it |

But still from comparison my Wagner Evo 1 went from 266kw to 259kw over the 3 runs, with turbos with a lot more boost and less efficiency. I guess not directly comparable without seeing IATs though.

Dyno numbers aren't comparable between different manufacturers. Even across different shops with the same dyno manufacturer have large discrepancies. This was done on a Mainline dyno which tended to read a lower than other dynos. For reference, my car actually made the highest number on stock turbos on 98 fuel at 266kw, and a Pure Stage 2 on 98 made 307kw

The 7" HD uses the same high density core as the Race albeit with a much smaller volume core. From my experience having datalogged many many cars on the dyno where airflow is limited and coolers will heatsoak quickly (resulting in drastically rising IAT's) the 7" HD out performs the Wagner Evo 2 Competition and the 7.5" Race is even better again. There is only one cooler that out performs the 7.5" Race but that's crazy expensive so I won't bring that into the conversation, as the Race cooler is all the very large majority will ever need providing they are not fussed by the weight it adds to the vehicle. |

Once you know the approximate baseline # of a N54 AT/MT vehicle on that dyno you can calculate the all important Delta achieved between stock and modded and that should allow for a reasonable comparison between different cars on different dynos, providing you also know the baseline # of the other dynos. |

Not the cheapest all year round but I have a large inventory of parts in stock and I'm more than happy to negotiate bigger discounts on bundled purchases. Cheers, Justin. |

As a reference my 1M made 262rwkw FBO (Wagner Evo 2) with stock mid and rear section. Running a custom 98 Cobb tune. This run was on a hot and humid Brisbane day.
I’m now running catless 3” straght pipes. Do you guys reckon it’d be making more power with the full xorst? |
