I was considering a thread like this, but I would have listed the deltas for the different flashes instead of the dyno graphs. And, does it really need to be "1M-specific"? I am installing an AMS FMIC and Berk Tech midpipes this week, but they are not specifically for the 1M.

Will post deltas.

Doesn't have to be 1M-specific but will be very long with the other N54 platform based mods.

If there are other suggestions, please feel free to post and I will update.

That is true. But, it may also be very short if companies don't make a new product if their current product fits.

Here are the deltas:

Epic:
+25hp
+24tq

ESS:
+33hp
+38tq

GIAC:
+46hp
+23tq

Thanks. Updated OP.

Well I think other companies will be creating 1M items in the future.
iCarbon for example is looking to make a lip for the 1M so there should be more items added in the future.
If you look at my OCC thread it's actually very very long
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=426575

If I did that with every product type, this would be a super long list. Maybe I should have a thread for each type of product and I have master post that points to that list....

Not trying to take your thread off-topic...

Absolutely companies will make 1m-specific exterior products, I don't think they will make specific N54 bolt-on products if the current parts work. That's all I am trying to say.

You would need to have someone dyno it.

I was wondering if anyone has tried it out and has the specs for the 1M which I assume hasn't happened yet? Surprising as a lot of members here had the JB4 for their 135s. Stage 2 would be nice to see dyno'd

Procede and JB4 have a lot of results from the 135, 335, and the other x35 models but have not seen anything on the 1M yet.

Red135, this is sort of the reason why I wanted it to be 1M-Specific as the results may vary or have not been tried. But either way works. I'll include n54 platform items as well and update accordingly.

Yah. Apparently it is plug-and-play with the 1M, just need a tester.

Yep. From what I heard from both vendors is that they are pnp on the 1M.

I agree with that. I was just trying to point out the difference between products like intakes, FMIC's, DP's, etc, that will be the same as the 135. As of now, the JB4 is only believed to be compatible with the 1M and therefore I wouldn't have included it. Additionally, there is a user on N54Tech that installed his JB4 on his 1M and the logs, so far, don't look as good as they could. Time will tell.

Interesting read. Still only seems to be a net 25HP gain though with fluctuating numbers in the engine since it wasn't specifically designed for the 1M like the other BETA tunes are.

Maybe we should look up procede or jb4 results from 335is or z4 35is.

Read that thread. It didn't provide any hard evidence of anything yet. As you said " Time will tell"

Same with Procede in regards to the compatibility. We'll have to see.

Why do all these tunes advertise much higher, but with the 15% loss still doesn't seem to add up? Am I missing something?

Seems as though the stock 135i gets a huge benefit from tunes (80-100hp) rather than the 20-30hp benefits from the 1M tunes?

because the 1M already is eating into that tune space to get its gains above the 135. The tune can only get to where it gets on the 135 since the M is halfway there the tune just picks up the last half.

^ Exactly. You're not going to see a 80hp increase with a piggyback like you would on a regular N54 engine.
