Oh I know, I read that much, I meant that I didn't know if you made a decision to keep it or reject it yet. Someone in that thread suggested if they have a CR on the lot they could swap interiors; that doesn't sound like a bad option. Or maybe they could drop the price since they messed up and you're now waiting longer...

Honestly, I don't think that's out of the question. You signed up to buy X, agreed on a price, waited 6+ weeks, and they try to give you Y. Fuck that. Their mistake, they need to make up for it and that shouldn't involve you waiting another 6+ weeks or paying the same amount, IMO.

Back on topic though... I guess I'll call the guy up and see if he can fit me in sometime soon. I've got a photoshoot on the 21st with my friend who's a professional photographer and I'd love to have the tint done by then.

CA said swapping interior is too expensive. Smells like BS to me, but we'll see what the GM has to say this wkend.

Anyway, gl with the tint. Definitely let us know how it turns out. Are you going with the 20%?

Hey guys, got another reply a few days ago from Matt at TNT but failed to post it here - been busy trying to sort out the whole wrong order situation. Figured I'd let everyone know just in case anybody was wondering. He said the tint he uses for the $180 is charcoal film, which he uses on his own car. He does have ceramic available for ~$400, but said he doesn't think it's worth it to be honest. Seems like a stand up guy.

I submitted a request for a tinting quote through some site and got an email from Eastside Window Tinting in Silver Spring, MD saying they have a special for all coupes with lifetime warrant. It is $120 until the 24th. No idea if they are any good though.

EDIT: on further investigation, it seems like more people than not have a negative opinion on this place. Oh well
