[B]Tools Used:[/B
Microfibre mitt,
Microfibre drying towel,
Karcher + accessories,
Wheel brush

Products Used:
Zaino's - Clay bar, polymer paint shield (don't know what they call it) and carwash

Method:

Lightly spoiled: Sonax wheels, 1 bucket with optimum no rinse, x1 MF towel per panel, fold after each small area, immediately dry with a waffle weave

Heavily spoiled: sonax wheels, rinse with hose, cover with optimum car wash from a foam cannon, microfibre mit, rinse mit after each area, dry with waffle weave

As my car is sealed with OptiSeal, I just use optimum gloss enhancer for a great finish.

From the look of things it seems like we have some serious car-wash addicts here. How the hell do you guys find the motivation and time to clean it full on each time? I should start washing my car more regularly by myself now....

Also speaking of products... any recommendations for shampoo? Ive used Meguiars GoldClass for sometime and Autoglym. Any recommendations for Zanio, Swissvax for Zymbol?

I started using Zaino a couple of years ago and it works very well for me. I find the Z2 show car polish particularly good - it shines like anything and lasts for many many months.

I can't really compare to other products though as for the previous 10 years we had a lease car deal where we got a couple of new cars about every 6 months so the cars only ever got washed, never clay bar'd or waxed.

In Aus. the Zaino products are outrageously expensive (Z7 car wash goes for around A$38) but in the States things are very different (same bottle of Z7 costs just US$8.95). Guess where I'll be getting my next batch of Zaino products.

Raj,

They don't list it as an option but do you know if they can do the Swissvax Entry Collection (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/pr...on_onyx/saphir) with the Swissvax Blau-Weiss Wax? (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/pr...vax/blau_weiss)

Just gave the car a mini detail using the Duragloss wash concentrate and Duragloss Aqua Wax.
Best two products I have used in a long time..

Car looks showroom..

Ease of use of the Aqua wax is awesome.. Then wiped down the car, while it is still wet with Mint Waffle Weave Microfibre Drying Towel. Fastest and easiest way to dry a car.

Try this P21S wax... I have used it for past couple of years and seriously a fantastic product and only 20 mins to apply/remove....last for about 12 washes: http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/pr...auba_paste_wax

.
Hey ian, can i suggest you try some Dodo Juice next time you buy some wax. Voted one of the best canuba car waxes available. Comes in at a similar price and comes in many varieties to match car colours / shades.

I use the following process/products for washing once a week and do a full-on hardcore detail every 4-5 months.

Washing:
Just a normal garden hose, two bucket method with Mint Microfibre Wash Mitt
and Duragloss Wash Concentrate.
Dry using Mint Microfibre Waffle Weave XL Drying Towel and protect with a quick spray and wipe with Duragloss Aquawax
Wheels - Autobrite Wheel Brite Gel. This shit rocks - dilute and 5 to 1 with water, super quick, economical and works like a charm. Brush with Speciality Brands Daytona Wheel Brush - easily the best wheel brush I've used.
Tyres - Duragloss Tyre Dressing.

Detail:
Mint Grey Clay bar and Magic Lube
Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent
Duragloss Total Performance Polish
Mint Foam Applicator Pads
Lots of microfibre cloths.

All my detailing stuff I got from www.carcareproducts.com.au - top guys
