I might ...repeat...MIGHT trade or sell my 03 Cayenne S for a 5 series. got to have the 8 cylinder....6 would not satisfy me after the the V8 in the cayenne.
Still trying to convince myslef that getting into a Bimmer will not be consider a step down or downgrade....

Haha... yeah..... how'd you know? 5 is kinda big (something that bothered me from beginning), considering I'm still having RFT issues, I've had 3 different sets now. I do admit, the power is nice for when I need a quick pass. Overall, I haven't had to use that power. E90 seems a lot more fun to drive.... am I wrong or right? Thought about waiting for 335i, but I can't wait that long... what to do??

I sold our Z3 before made the E90 buying decision. So I trade the Honda 2004 Accord 2.4 for the E90; but I managed to sell it to a friend before I get the E90 delivered.

BMWally,
I drove the 3, then the 5, and there was no discussion the 3 was the right vehicle for a sporty, fun daily driver. I wasn't after the prestige, and I scuffed the rims on the back of the 5 going around a normal corner, just too big for my own good. SA didn't let me park the 5, even though I backed the 3 into a tight spot on the lot with no problems.

UncleWede,
I did the same thing, haha.... and I have active steering, which really makes the car feel like a luxo mobile. "It wasn't me!" My friend drove my E60 and actually over steered and freaked me out. Thus, on the E90, I didn't get active steering, but got the much needed CA and Shades for sunny Cali 2 more days till the E90 arrives!!!!

Gave my mom my 03 Expedition. I've had SUV's for the last 10 years & I'm tired of 'em. It sure is nice to be back in a Bimmer.

Blue Streak.........

Seriously though...Why did you downgrade? The legendary Audi reliability, or financial reasons?

I cry everytime I think about this.

We traded in a pristine 2000 M Roadster.
