are BMW 1 series front end the same for different model such as coupe versus hatchback versus 5 doors?

You need to be more specific with the question.

There are several variants of the bumper (m-sport or not, both with and without fogs, plus a few others), multiple grills (chrome or black slats), multiple headlights (amber turns or not, both xenon or not), etc.

Or are you asking about the ability to swap front end hardware between various models?

check www.realoem.com - you can check to see if the part numbers are the same. Most of them won't be, and since not many people on this forum have tried anything like this - you are kind of in a black hole. What is it that you are trying to do here?
