Hello,

I recently managed to source a brand new in-box OEM BMW Performance SSK. I've held off on the install as I wanted to install a Double Shear Selector Rod at the same time.

Now that I've got both - as how these situations always go - I decided to bite the bullet on a CAE-style shifter instead...thus these are going up for sale.

I'm selling the entire performance kit minus the boot and the shift knob. I have everything else.

This will take care of almost all of your shifting needs - unless you dream to be a rally-driver wannabe, then only the CAE will satisfy your needs.

Asking $OLD.

Does the SSK come with a new shift boot and knob? Pics?

Can the stock shift boot and knob be used if desired?

The install instructions mention a special tool (in illustration 046 1207 V) for turning the bearing mount prior to removal. Does this also come with the kit; is it necessary?
