Yes, but I'm not sure how it works because they are all controlled by two photo cells on the interior mirror.

Are the exterior mirrors controlled by the memory, or only the seats?

Yes the exterior mirrors are set with the seat memory. Also, when you back up you can have the right mirror look down at the curb for you.

Wow that's awesome! I am very short and need all the help I can get with backing up. I was going to get the back up camera but didn't think it was worth the money. I haven't backed up into anything in about 2 years so I think I am better now!

Yeah, autodimming side mirrors are part of premium. They are great! Not sure if they are controlled independently or from the rear view sensors. I think they are separate. I have seen one dimmed and the other not. Also, it is easy for headlights to be in your side mirror and not the rearview, so that wouldn't make sense.

what i want to know is why they autodim in broad daylight... my mercedes only did it when it was dark outside.

They will only do it if it is brighter beind you than infornt of you

Great if you are driving in the late afternoon with the sun setting right behind you
