Only 642 miles on the odo and squeaks everywhere
So I've had my 1.35i for 3 weeks and it only has 642 miles on the odo.
Every time I drive on the tinniest road imperfection there are a couple squeak sounds around the passenger door, behind the passenger seat and somewhere around the glove box/passenger airbag. It sounds like the whole thing is not correctly assembled... Also when it turn my wipers on, there is a very clear clicking sound coming from the glove box. I'm 99.9% sure the "fuse" sound from the wipers going up and down... Anyway I will bring it in for the break-in service. I'll be able to show them the whippers sound very easily but I really don't know what to do about the rest...I'm makes me wanna kill myself when I drive and even if the drive is amazing, I'm already thinking about dumping the car. Anybody has similar noises? What's your opinion on the situation? Thanks Last edited by Johnny Quid; 01-26-2010 at 10:45 PM.. |

Yep I think there are a few minor decals for those issues. Although I try to avoid the dealerships altogether so it's not enough to get me to go in and I just bought her 3 mths ago with 3 on the odo.

This is the primary reason I'm getting rid of my 135 convertible in the next couple of weeks. The smallest bump in the road sets off all kinds of noises in the cabin. Some of my car's rattles are specific to the convertible, so they may not apply to your car.
My recommendation would be to have your service department apply every noise/rattle-related service bulletin that applies to you car's build date. If you still have noises, consider replacing the run flats with regular tires. Based on feedback from the forum, squeaks and rattles vary from car to car. Some people got lucky, others got shafted. |

Only noise that our 135 Vert had was coming from a defective rear window regulator. A rattle occured only with the top down, and the window up....deal fixed it. So far adter almost 11 months, it runs great, and no squeeks or rattles. However, it does have the dash indentation and the driver window sometimes goes down after you raise it....also shows on the Nav that we have a gas station 2 doors down....but there is no gas station in our subdivision.
