Sometimes you forget what you've been missing!

Since I finally had a day off where the weather was nice I decided it was time to take the 135 out of its hibernation. I put on the summer wheels/tires and installed the F30 brake shields while the wheels were off. I would have liked to change the pads too but my Ferodoo's still haven't shipped so it will have to wait.

I had forgotten how much my new suspension changed the dynamics of the car. The tail is much looser now and I had a surprise flashy light on my dash more than once. I had some surprisingly clear autobahn so I decided to see how well I could kill bugs at 150+.....works very well

At any rate it was good to get out and enjoy driving again, I had forgotten how much I love driving this car.

Having summertires back on its suddenly like driving a different car.. the dunlop winters were good on snow but just useless on tarmac when being sporty.

But let me ask you, are you talking about 150kph? If yes, please remember that you are in germany and 150kph will just get you sprinters in the rear view mirror

Indeed, well said...took my M out this past weekend on some spirited "blue sky, curvy roads" high-speed riving and after an hour of intense action my wife excitedly slapped me on the arm and kissed me, first time in 10,000 miles thats ever happened....i think she liked me driving it like i stole it

Sprinters in the rear view??? I'm a little lost.

I think he meant 150 MPH (240+ KPH)

Yeah I know he probably meant mph, but being in germany and a german I just had to go for the "u know this autobahn thing, right?" joke . Also I had Sprinters up my ass at 220kph already, so that is not that far out .

I feel you Wade! I finally got my car out of the garage too! WOOHOO!!! Now once my G5 board gets here, I can hopefully drive around without sounding like crap cause of this stupid wastegate. Less than a month to get ready for Welt 4.0! Everybody get your mods on.

Drove an hour to pick up my repaired rim. It wasn't ready (why not tell me over the phone?) so I was forced to drive another hour back with the windows down and the sunroof open. It wasn't a complete loss.
