Cpo-- what would not make it...
Purchased my cpo a few months ago and have had some issues with the car that seem to be more than normal for a cpo car. I attached my vehicle history if anyone has any insight.
I purchased the car at 26700 miles, so everything before I was unaware of. Lesson learned.... Ask for service records. |

Looks pretty standard for a DCT 1 Series. What do you want to know? What caused the idle surging? If you give me the last 7 of your VIN, I'll tell you. Or we can assume it needed a software update, which was probably all it was.

I asked the dealer to send me the service history before I laid my deposit down. My CPO had only 10K miles on it and only normal maintenance plus the battery recall done. If I sold it now they'd have a lot of DCT issues and a few squeaks on the report.
Yep, software reflash for the DCT fixes most of these issues.

I'm thinking about taking mine to a bmw dealership right now to get a cpo inspection.. I don't know if I should go that route or buy the carmax warranty.. they're charging me like $3700
