People with lag should be madder Cure Sprintbooster

Ok guys if you have been following my DINAN problem you know I was flashed back to stock on the new updated program. Well I had the Sprintbooster installed in my 135, and I spoke to DINAN today to have my car fixed tomorrow. Well I took out the Sprintbooster today to make sure I had no issues with the dealer. Oh my God! I cannot believe the lag that my car has not and it feels like the ball were cut right off. If I were you guys I would be losing my mind if my car came back like this. It is unbelievable the difference in power and enjoyment, I put it right back in and no lag great response. I will take it out when I get to the dealer in takes 5 minutes, there is no way I would drive the car without it. So if you guys want to be much happier with your car buy the sprintbooster. If I find out that the Sprintbooster and the DINAN are causing a problem, I will give my sprintbooster to someone in the Westchester area tomorrow. Or if someone wants to try it out in the area it only takes a minute to switch out. But really guys if you are having this horrible turbo lag problem, the Sprintbooster is the answer.

Hey Johnny. Let me know how it goes down. I'm running Jb1 now and love it and was considering the sprintbooster. Let me know when you're in the area again.

Well it is not the Sprintbooster I am at the dealer now and had the car reflashed and no sprintbooster and I still got a limp mode. But without the Sprintbooster I was not impressed with the DINAN tune. The sprintbooster makes such a huge difference in turbo lag and throttle response. It is a must buy, if anyone wants to try it out in Westchester, or Dutchess County NY let me know and we will hook up.

Plus after the flash without the sprintbooster I was unimpressed with the DINAN stage 2 tune, the sprintbooster makes such a difference in turbo lag and throttle response. It is a must buy

interesting that you guys been experiencing lag. The lag wouldn't compare to what i'm driving now hhehe Subaru Liberty GT 2L Turbo (legacy over there) but yeah a few of us fitted sprintboosters, instead I got a reflash of my ECU. Made a huge difference over the sprintboosters. Gained 20kw at wheels. Wonder what ecu/engine management solutions will be available for the 135i.

Does anyone know for sure that BMW is addressing the lag introduced by 29.2 ???

I have read rumors that they are, but not from any of the BMW connected sources.

Can the Sprintbooster be used without leaving a trace for BMW to know it was on the car?

It does not show up and takes 3 minutes to put in or take out.

So I get a call from the SA at Greenwich BMW yesterday and asks me if I have a Sprintbooster on my car. I told him no that I did but I took it off to make sure it had nothing to do with my fuel pump issue. He said good because DINAN checks the forums and saw that I had a Sprintbooster on my car and wanted to make sure I took it off. It was not a big deal, but it shows that they check everything when they are fixing a car.

Sprintbooster just changes the gas pedal signal to the ECU right? So really it would just be masking the lag then, not making it go away. I'd leave it on for service, let them try to prove that a heavier foot on the gas pedal can break a car (which is what it effictively acts like).

thing is tho, that a heavier foot doesn't make the lag go away (you floor it, it kicks in a second or 2 later), but Johnny says the sprintbooster makes the lag go away. that means the sprintbooster is doing more than you could do with a heavy foot.

I just don't see how that's possible given the wiring it's using.

Okay, so. . .

I ordered a SprintBooster yesterday--to much abuse and laughter from my business partner, who thinks the SB is a complete scam.

I am also inclined to not believe the hype, but I will install it this weekend and try to give an unvarnished review here. I do have noticeable throttle lag in my April-build 135i automatic.
