shops for installs

does anyone have a very good/trusted local shop they use for part installs?

looking to put in a suspension kit, LSD and oil cooler but will get RAPED on the labor cost at any going-rate shop...need a break on $$

Speedlife Motorsports in Haverhill. Jason is amazing and they do not kill you with their labor costs.

I have a friend who builds race cars, and specializes in BMWs. I can ASK if he wants to take any/all of this as a side job, if you are interested. He does all my installs on every car I've ever owned, so I'd trust him with any job he was interested in taking on.

PM me if you'd be interested. I understand some people just want to take it to a shop etc, so just let me know. If I get a suspension or something it always goes to him, unless its just a job not worth his time, or hes working on his own cars, etc etc.

Bumping this. I need some trim parts installing on a 2015 X5 (sorry, I know it's not remotely close to a 1 series but am in the Burlington MA area.

Am basically working my way through all the New England forums trying to find some good local installers.

Does anybody have anywhere they can recommend for general BMW part installation?

I can recommend Import Auto Werks in Braintree. The owner, Alvin, is a BMW master tech. Reasonable rates, $80/hour iirc, and they are very fair on time charged.
