Car feeling weird after first service??? Is it me??

Sounds high, but I would take that offer. Make sure they install the decall under the hood(and record your VIN)... so any future updates - you will always "keep" the performance SW.

Yeah that's what i was think but either way its a good deal and should bring the peppy performance that it had.

I'd get the update and the performance software for that cost right now if I could. I wonder if I could convince the dealer of it, heh, let them know the whole sequence of events we would go through and just skip right to the end.

As of yet mine hasn't been updated (also N55). The previous owner declined it and so far I haven't seen anything needing updating so I haven't brought it in either.

Just picked up my car with the PPK installed and she seems to be back to normal!!

Throttle delay seems to be gone and the exhaust "pop" or burble i guess is back. Powerwise I didn't get a chance to open her up but i will try again at lunch time and report back.

On a side note I want to give props to BMW of Austin for going to bat for me and coming up with a solution.

I am glad you had a happy ending. Sounds like your "old" car is back.

Yeah I'm pretty excited so far, I plan to do some driving in a bit to see how it pulls. I was pretty bummed about this "detuned" experience i even thought about trading the car in.
