Cleaning dirt off of B pillar help

Hi guys,

How and what do you guys use to clean the road dirt safely that sits on the B pillar and on the headliner to the driver side without smudging it?
I am sure this happens to everyone if you drive with your window open.
I appreciate your help in advance.

There isn't much dirt here for now but eventually it will become more visible.
Thanks again

This may sound like a "smart" answer--but be assured it is not intended. I use Griots Interior Cleaner...which I truely like due to its cleaning props, no residue and its safe for leather. And here's my main answer....I just clean regularly--and never let any of these places along with 10's of others even in engine bay to get dirt collected. Usually gentle spray, wipe or spray the MF towel and swipe, and dirt never builds. RE: smudges? just be careful I guess...not had a problem. Hope this helps some--

Yeah, one of the few Griots products that I really like is their interior cleaner. I switch between it and the 303 cleaner with no real preference. You will likely want a bristled brush to lightly scrub the headliner with.

1Z einszett Deep Cleaner should do the job.
use a microfiber towel if that doesn't work use an interior brush.

Thanks guys. Will either the Griots or the 1Z einszett deep cleaner clean the dirt off of the headliner as you can see in the picture? That would be my main concern...

you can try to use the deep cleaner on the headliner, but do you know what type of stain on it?

You can use any APC (all purpose cleaner) or interior detailer.

However, the technique and tools to clean it is what matters.

On our clients car's we use Vikan detailing brushes and slowly brush the area clean. APC should be your first port of call, then do a wet brush and clean, wipe with a microfibre towel and finish with an interior detailer and a second wipe down.

Should come up brand new.

Taymaishu, thanks. I will go check out for something like that at local store here. Much appreciated on the technique described.
