New Car Delivery - Treat Leather?

All this time spent on new car prep, polish, opti coat, etc.... and yet I totally ignored the interior. Do folks apply any products to protect new leather?

Yes. Leather masters. Best stuff I've found that works as advertised and does not make leather needlessly shiny. Just do soft cleaner and protectant for a perfect matte finish. My steering wheel is still as matte as new after 9k miles because of leather masters.

For cleaning.. theres 2 different kinds.. Soft and Strong.. Soft is ok for new leather.. Also contact him for leather conditioner and Leather sealant as it is not on the website.

FWIW, BMW's lousy leather grades these days seems pretty indestructible. Mom's got a E91 with grey Dakota leather. almost 7 years/60k miles later, still looks good as new - although a bit softer. My E82 is still new (Boston leather like yours I presume), and it feels about the same as Dakota.

Punch line being, our leathers seem rather forgiving when it comes to abuse. Even with little to no care, they hold up just fine over the years. I think I have read that this due to it being the newer leather grades being fully pigmented (if that's the right word). It's why they feel a bit rubbery and stiff. Older BMW's used to get Napa leather, which is more of a semi-aniline leather. Oh so soft and supple, but not so durable... You can still get Napa in fancier Bimmers though. Along with other nice grades like Merino leather (softer still, but self-destructs within 50k mi unless babied, in which case it will live marginally longer - or so I've read).

I use this same combination on a monthly basis and my leather smells great and looks brand new

As long as you use plenty of conditioner on your urethane covered leather it will last forever

I use Leatherette Combo, but simply just using Pristine Clean should help up-keep
