CES 135i pics, vids and more!

Let me start off saying that the BMW display was freakin' awesome! I screwed up when I actually did the F1 car wheel change, lol, but I had fun. I also did the F1 driver test to see how many pounds force you can achieve with your legs. I got 375lb. I guess that's good? Haha. Anywho, here are lots of pics as well as vids of the 135i, E92 M3, a BMW stunt bike rider, the junior F1 car, an Alfa Romeo, Fiat 500, and the F1 wheel change booth.

In person the 135i is beautiful. The proportions are perfect IMO and it looks great in black. FYI, it is jet black and not the metallic black. The interior is red and now that I've seen it in person I am sticking with an all black interior. It had the sport package and the M steering wheel and shifter look amazing. He was not allowed to open the car for me but I was close enough to see that the interior is fantastic and the steering wheel is small and chunky. Also, the gauges are smaller than they look in pictures which is fine by me. The tailpipes are huge! They look awesome. Overall, I fell more in love with this car after seeing it in person. Pictures on the internet do not do it justice at all! It looks awkward and disproportionate in pictures, but it looks perfect in person. I got to CES at like 2:30pm and it was closing at 4:00pm and I ran all the way from where I parked to the BMW area just to see the car. When I saw it I just stopped in my tracks and my jaw dropped. I love that car, haha. Anywho, enjoy the pics and vids guys and I'll try to answer any questions you may have!

P.S. The M3 is ungodly gorgeous!

Alfa Romeo. A very cool car!

Here's the vids. There's a few of the 135i. Sorry, but I was so excited to finally see it that I took more than one walkaround vid, haha.

I bet that's the Boston Autoshow car. It also had brushed aluminum trim, which we can't get in the states, and was jet black/coral red, shadowline trim, with no oil cooler, just like that car.

Great pics! I love the Alfa, but they should have done better with those wheels. I couldn't imagine washing them, and they don't look sporty enough to go with the character of the rest of the car.

Great stuff, Joker. Hard to believe we're all so addicted to this car. Thank God I don't smoke.

Nice of that guy to allow you a cleaner view of the car by removing the tensile rope. Thanks again.

You're Welcome guys

Yeah the Alfa was pretty cool I thought. The wheels do look tough to clean, you're right. Everything was taken with my cell phone so sorry if the quality is crap on a stick. Yeah the younger guy at the 135i booth was great. Real nice guy. He was telling me that the dealerships here in Vegas are already talking about how much of a markup they want to add on to the MSRP. Bastids!

That Stunt Driver video looks like the kind where it ends up with the rider doing a face plant.

Again, thanks!!

Reading your post reminded me of my own experience, seeing the 135i at LA Auto Show for the first time. Good deal. Although, I am getting a little cold feet. Still kind of wished I went with the Elise route.

That's the most boring safety car ever. Needs more flash or a cool logo.

That does it... red leather is not for me. It looks awesome in black, though...

Thanks for the post joker!

Robert, is that metallic black on the pace car? Maybe there's some grain in the photos, but it looks like metallic...

Is that 375 pounds of force to the break pedal?

That is the CES car from OP and he said it's Jet Black. I stole the pics from e90post.

I think so. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I know right. And it was really dusty and dirty. I figured since they were showing it off they'd dust it off as often as possible. But then again I got there at like 2:45pm and CES was over at 4:00pm so maybe they didn't give a crap.

The M cars on display were constantly clean and well waxed up, so I guess I know where their priorities were, haha.
