anyone close to 400hp?

Has anyone come close or is over 400 hp yet? The 400 is my goal, you guys think it's possible with a JB3, RR intake, DP's, and exhaust?

Interesting thread, I think there is quite a few people on here with 400hp/400+lbs ft torque..

and I think you may need a little bit more modifications to get to 400hp if your using a JB3..

are we talking 400 hp at the wheels?

JB3+intake= 350ish wheels
+Catless Downpipes- 370ish
+Full exhaust-380ish

Honestly, I think JB3/intake/Downpipes= One Happy "ONE"

Yea you should be real close to 400rwhp, as for what other modifications I'm not to sure yet, but I do know Dinan (the tune i plan to get) does give you about 350+hp.. JB3 doesn't get the power that high but it does come close, check out the new intercooler if it adds any hp/torque, i know there's other things that add a small percentage of power that will get you to your goal =)
Just look around the forum I'm sure youll find what you need bc at the moment the other modifcations dont come to mind haha.

But yea dude, let me know if you get one and how it works bc a few friends are telling me to look into JB3 instead of Dinan but I'm going for Dinan at the moment, so let me know how it all goes.

FWIW: 400hp minus a 12% drivetrain loss equals 352whp.

I thought the Dinan tune was rated at the crank and not the wheels. I'm pretty sure the JB3 is certainly more power to the wheels than the Dinan but correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah it is, the Dinan reflashes are lucky to make 330whp. the JB3 is a much more powerful solution than Dinan.

Dinan=~50bhp increase, vs aprox 70rwhp increase from jb3. With v81 getting near 400rw might be tough...

You can't usually drive on TMS w/o some special event... But you can go out to MSR(Motorsports Ranch) in Cresson, TX or TWS (Texas World Speedway) near College Station.

I could list a few more, or you could just go here:
