as far as coding for the OEM alarm. i do have the red clown nose. what if i dont have the alarm system and no pre-wiring?

If you don't have prewiring unfortunately the most cost effective solution will be an aftermarket system with can-bus interfacing.

Does the Video in Motion code work with USB drives in cars without a built-in hard drive?

For DVD in motion, you will have to have the CIC iDrive (Manufactured after 09/2008).
It is not compatible with the DVD-based map navigation (CCC iDrive).

Possibly for the factory rear-view camera.
However for aftermarket you'd need to look into after market hardware modules. Alekshop offers something like that for rearview.
