2012???

Just curious but 2012-2013 is when a lot of our payoffs will be done for those of us who bought right away... What are some of the new competitors going to be around then and what are others looking forward to??? Obviously the M1 (or wahtever they call it will be suitable replacement to the 135i around then)...

A z28 camaro would be nice also (but don't know if that is really gonna happen)...

Anyone else looking into the future????

pretty much not a whole lot......cars are becoming hybrids/electric...etc. Tuning these cars for more power is the way to go. I see the S4 B5 cars cranking out 450+hp, these cars are almost 10yrs old......these guys have tons of fun with these cars.........

The Porsche Cayman S is due for an overhaul in 2011 or 2012. I have decided i want a momentum car with decent horse power rather than a high hp car because I have no self control when driving a muscle car and the access to triple digit will be way too easy. I swear those cars just taunts you to drive faster. (ie. Vette, GTR)

It's hard to say what price range I'll be looking at in two years, but I'm thinking about a Vette, or maybe the CTS-V coupe, or possibly a Z28. It really depends on what's out there at the time though.

One thing's for sure.....it won't be German.

If I am to stay in the BMW family my hopes are a hatch One Series either 4cyl turbo, current setup, or a nice diesel model. After driving in my first snow storm today with RWD and snow tires I am all set with not having AWD as an option. Other possibility would be X1 or new X3. I also have a soft spot for VW and it's R cars, so a 4 door R20 4cyl turbo if it makes it to US would be a possibility. My wife and I are trying to have a child so a 4 door of some sort would be more convenient.
